We need more restaurants on the lake--some nice date places
We need more nice restaurants and coffee shops around the lake and on the water.

And please do remember that the primary tenant of the Tempe Center for the Arts is Childsplay - a children's theatre. Family friendly and good food can go together!

Problem is, I see no lakeside development to support such types of businesses. It will be a serious Fail Whale on the part of Tempe if both sides of the lake end up with nothing but condos overlooking. At that point it's only a destination if you live there.

I'd agree - check out http://datedesigner.com too for date ideas as there's a couple built already in Tempe but you can build your own also and add them :)
